I am cheating at my job. I am a software engineer at Netflix. Uh, this is a meeting of software engineers anonymous and Claude is writing 80% of my code. Here are three tips so you can do it too. Tip one is to make a Claude.md file and put it at the project level. This will give Claude the context that it needs to write better code. So you wanna put in all the file references to your documentation, best practices. Two is to use plan mode before writing new features. Press shift tab twice to get into plan mode and what it'll do is it'll write detailed implementation plans before starting to code. Three, I have noticed I get a lot better output than some of my colleagues who are newer to Claude Code and this is why. I use escape a lot and I treat every code generation as a conversation. Treat code generation like a conversation, that's how I would say it if I were Johnny Cochran.
