Everybody's talking about Claude, but very few people know how to actually set it up correctly and then they get disappointed with their output and the results. So this is going to be your guide with the five most important steps you need to do before you start using Claude so you actually get good results. Also put together this complete guide that you can get in the end of this video. Step 1: Profile Before you even start using Claude, you should go here to Claude and click settings and then click general. And here you have your profile. And here you want to write everything about yourself, your business, what you're doing, your processes, everything Claude needs to know so it has a context about you. You don't even need to figure this out. Claude can of course help you and you can just ask it to help me write a profile context about me to give to Claude, ask me the questions you need to know. And Claude will help you figure out and then you just copy paste it into your profile. Step 2: Memory Go to settings and click on capabilities. And here it's gonna say memory. And you want to make sure to toggle both these things on. And this is gonna make sure that Claude remembers your past chats, your history, so it actually knows more about you and have deeper context. Step 3: Writing style Go back to the chat and click here on the plus button and go down here to use style. And here you get pre-built styles that Claude can answer you with, but I recommend you click here on create and edit styles. And here you can add your own style. So you can drop in emails that you wrote, LinkedIn posts, social media posts, and then Claude will understand and learn your tone of voice, or the output you get from Claude will sound like you instead of a generic AI. Step 4: Projects Step 4, projects. And projects are basically like folders where you can save different chats and upload the knowledge base so Claude always remembers what it is you're working on, even though you're using different chats. Step 5: Connectors And step five, connectors. And you can click here on browse connectors and then you get a long list of Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, whatever tool you're using and Claude can have access to it. So you can ask questions about it or Claude can go and use that tool for you. Save & bookmark Save and bookmark this video for later. And if you want my complete guide on how to start using Claude, just comment and I will send it over to you.
