Alright, so this video is for all of my introverted, ambitious girlies, because this is such an important skill to have and no one really talks about it. So I'm going to be the one to say this. You need to practice efficient communication if you want to be successful. As someone who's a natural introverted person and that was interested in business and being an entrepreneur and making my own income, I knew that something had to change, but I wasn't into becoming an extrovert. whether I'm speaking to my clients, my team or my employees, I use this three-part structure in order to make sure that my message lands every single time. First things first, you need to start with the context. When you are about to explain something, give someone the background of what you're going to go over and what you're about to discuss, that way they understand what you're saying and you don't have to fluff in extra stuff or answer any unnecessary questions. Next thing Go ahead and give them the core message. I do not beat around the bush with I think maybe and all this extra padding. All you need to do is state your main point and say what you need to say directly and clearly. Next thing, when I speak, I always end it with a call to action. I tell them exactly what I need for them or I ask them what they need from me or I ask them if they have any specific questions for me, so that there's never any confusion. Using this three-part structure has allowed me to officially communicate and it prevents me from rambling, it prevents me from stuffing over my words so that I'm able to directly tell people what I need from them and ask them what they need from me. And mastering this didn't just make me a better communicator, but it protected my energy because I wasn't wasting words. So doing it this way allows you to leave the conversations feeling confident, not over thinking what you're saying and being able to move on. So yes, practice enough communication I promise you, your life will change.
