Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I'm a software engineer at Google. In my Notion, in the mirror at 2 AM. Everyone's filming their "I quit big tech" videos while I'm trying to get in. Like Linus Torvalds, I can't solve LeetCode like NeetCode. Our three lines, the screen turns red. Every choice that led me here. But last week, Microsoft noticed me. Not about a job, about my videos. They want the creator, not the coder. Fine. It's still a door. I just want the salary. And yeah, a little. But... about the money. I really wanna press run. Watch something actually work. Not the person filming, the person building them. My dad wrote C back in the 90s. Before coding was a vibe. Before it had a podcast. So... this isn't me chasing a trend. It was in the house before and yeah.. cool. Right now, someone is logging out their Google laptop for the last time. And I'm... just getting started. Five tabs open. Half of them docs I'm pretending to understand. The question is: do you keep going when... you have no idea what you are doing? What you are doing? Cause... I do. I do. Thank you, dad.
