So here's one small thing that has made a big difference in how I work with Claude Code, and it's especially helpful if you are like me, non-traditionally technical, but getting techier or you're newer to working with Claude Code. It's called /btw. Backslash btw, by the way. And you can access this from the Code section of the Claude desktop app or terminal session where you have Claude Code running. And what this does is open up a side chat where you can continue to converse with Claude Code while it's processing, building, coding, cooking. Because if you notice, if you try to converse with it while it's processing, it'll queue up those statements. It'll be kind of transparent in view. And the side chat is incredibly helpful of multitask. So while it is processing, ask it certain parts about the project, maybe how you should move forward or to analyze something so that you're not just waiting or sitting idle. I use it a lot as a study buddy. So if I see terminology in the main Claude Code chat screen that I don't really quite understand, I learn grep, bash commands, and other terminology. Remember, you don't need huge glitzy things to have meaningful change. If you are more conversational like me, or you're reactive to things, something running, you go, 'wait, what about this?' Or, 'yes, this.' Or the product brief said this, and you want to confirm it with Claude Code but not disrupt anything, definitely try /btw.
