there's some interesting research that's come out of Anthropic recently, just about the inside of what's in Claude's mind. And they found this thing called the J space. And this is actually relating to a theory of consciousness called the global workspace theory, which posits that when we are thinking, only a small slice of what you're doing is in your conscious awareness. A lot of that's what's happening, like you're breathing, your movements, that might not even be your conscious thought. And there's this very sliver, small sliver of thoughts that's in our conscious awareness. And researchers actually found that Claude has this, and that they can edit that inside that space. When they prompted and changed the text inside that space, it ended up coming out with different answers. So this kind of proves that this theory has something to it. But it also means that there is actually, there's this space inside Claude and AI's brain that we can actually interact with output and ultimately understand its behavior through this, because it serves as a portal to its mind.
