new to X, so this might be totally normal for X. I have been thinking about it for the past two days and cannot stop thinking about it. I watched this cloud marketing video put an image of it so you can see what it is and go find it for yourself. The whole thing felt like a fever dream. What I saw first was Sam Altman reposting it and was like, I thought that this was some like random spam account. I didn't think it was from the actual anthropic account which again I'll put the tweet here. I was like, so it's got to be different. weird. So the whole thing is like basically trying to get you to think more, right? And like critically think about AI and all of the positives and the negatives and just like talking about it probably. I think that's really the whole goal of it. First half was interesting. It was very negative. And it was talking about how there's really hard questions and if AI's able to like think and have emotions then like what's the point of me and like just all of these really intense questions with them like unsetting like a house on fire, diseases spreading, like all of that stuff. It felt like it was meant to make you unsettled, which is how I felt. So job achieved marketing, thank you. And then the second half was all of the hope that AI can bring or at least that's how I interpreted it. That really was able to capture like the hope that I feel when I'm using AI as someone that is trying to experiment and see what's possible and like push the boundaries on it. pioneer on the frontier. That's what I feel notes and I said the other day. So, it captured like both sides of it. But then at the end, I'm left wondering like, okay, so we've acknowledged all the bad. So are we trying to say that, hey, some bad stuff might have to happen for the good stuff to happen, but like we're just acknowledging that. Like that feels weird too. Like how are we going to acknowledge that all of these bad things are potentially on our horizon within a short period of time. but then be like, okay, well it's probably worth it because all these other good things could happen. But like I want to focus on fixing the bad things and I want to focus on making them not happen and like, you know, not just acknowledging that they might happen. So it was a very interesting video. If you've seen it, you know, let me know your thoughts below and if I'm just way off. Anyways, I can't really even talk about it that much obviously because like I've I'm trying to put it into words but like it's just kind of weird. It's like and then it's inspiring and then the entire thing is like I don't know how to be left feeling and it's weird. So I keep thinking about it over and over again.
