Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits. Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit. Demand for Fable has been challenging to predict, which is why we rolled it out to subscription plans in stages, extending access several times as we secured additional capacity.

Claude Fable is here to stay. So Anthropic's been dancing around the fact that Fable is going to be a paid feature. So people aren't going to have Fable within their plans, they're going to have to pay for an actual API. Well, as of today, Claude Fable has actually been approved to be a part of all Max plan and Team premium plans. What this means that if you have a Claude Max plan, you'll be able to use Fable without having to worry about paying for API credits along the way. Now, this only works for the Max plan. It does not include the Pro and Team standard plans. So I would highly suggest you go to Max plan if you do use Claude Fable quite a bit.
