So what happens if you ask AI to make your CV? It basically becomes... here's the thing. Most of the CVs get rejected before a human sees them. Before a human even sees them. And that's because companies now use AI to shortlist candidates. So what if we use AI to make a CV that will pass this shortlisting agent that the companies use? I tested this and honestly it feels like a cheat code. Here's exactly what I did. First I pasted my CV and job description directly into chat GPT and said, Act as a senior recruiter. Analyse my CV against this job description, give me a match score out of 100 and list the top 5 missing keywords. This will basically tell you how your CV would do against that job description and give you the five keywords from that CV. Now once you've got those keywords, I want you to add the second prompt in the same chat. Rewrite my experience section so that those keywords naturally. Use the Google XYZ formula - accomplish X, measured by Y, by doing Z. And this instantly makes your CV 10 times stronger. Now the third prompt that nobody speaks about, act as an applicant tracking system. Scan my CV and tell me which sections a bot would struggle to read. This will fix the formatting issues that literally get people rejected before a human sees it. And then the last one for interviews, act as a hiring manager. Ask me 3 hardest technical questions for this role, then give me the perfect answer based on my background. You're not just applying better, you're preparing smarter too. I've been testing these AI workflows recently, and this is probably one of the best ones. And if you want to see more AI workflows, make sure you follow me and like this.
