If you've been using Fable 5 and you keep hitting your limits, Claude recommends that you type these 14 words before your prompt. Here's how it works. Go to the Claude desktop app or the terminal, select Fable 5 and you'll see that the effort level is already set to extra. This is because according to Anthropic, we get the best buck compared to the max effort. So now, how do we lower our token usage before any big project? Enter this prompt: "Use Fable 5 to plan this task but use opus or sonnet sub-agents for the implementation." Ensure that Fable plans the entire thing and then Opus or Sonnet does the actual implementation work. Again, according to Anthropic, you can save 30 to 60% of your token usage.
