Most people will completely misunderstand this video. They’ll think it’s about tipping. It isn’t. It’s about human nature. The average person only rewards people after they receive value. The waiter brings the food, then they leave a tip. The employee solves the problem, then they get recognition. The friend helps them, then they say thank you. In other words, they only give after they get. But some of the most successful people I’ve met operate differently. They understand that people are not robots. People remember how you make them feel. People remember who treated them with respect before they had a reason to. People remember who appreciated them when there was nothing to gain. This isn’t manipulation. It’s relationship building. And before the comments fill up with “money can’t buy loyalty,” let me agree with you. It can’t.
