Most people use $68,000 as part of the down payment on one house. I used $68,000 to buy 4. And here’s the crazy part: All 4 properties are over 2,000 miles away, and I still haven’t seen a single one in person. No inherited money. No trust fund. No six-figure down payments. Just one $68,000 investment that I kept putting back to work. I bought my first property for $68,000. After renovating it, I was able to pull most of my capital back out and reinvest it into the next deal. Then I did it again. The equity and profits from those first two properties became the down payments for properties #3 and #4. Instead of using my money once, I used the same dollars over and over again to acquire more assets. Today, all 4 properties generate monthly cash flow. And that’s the lesson: Your money should hustle harder than you do. Most people earn money, spend money, and repeat. I wanted every dollar to keep working—creating equity, generating cash flow, and helping me buy the next asset. The original $68,000 that started with one house is now producing income from four. Because the goal isn’t just to make money. It’s to own assets that make money for you.
