23 years old with a goal to retire in 15 years. A big part of that is just keeping life simple. Both our vehicles: fully paid off. I do most of the maintenance myself. When we plan on driving them until they stop. We cook at home almost every night. Eating out is a luxury and it's one of those things that sound small but adds up to thousands saved over a year. Our hobbies don't cost much either. Guitar, walks, working out, watching shows together. We're not dropping hundreds every weekend trying to stay entertained. None of this looks impressive, but every dollar we don't spend is a dollar going into investments instead. Living simple and buying ourselves more freedom later. 15 years to go.
