Spend the shift with me is a 31-year-old mom of two in business owner. Sometimes it's just so nice to turn on my barista brain and turn off my business owner brain for a second. I love these moments that I'm not having to fix something or putting out fires, but just getting to make drinks, talk to customers and chill with my employees. Last week one of our stores had a huge walk-in fridge go out. And on Saturday that same store had a car breakdown in the window and kind of block our draft. So I honestly felt so bad for the customer because she was just kind of sitting duck until we could get it towed. She did finally get it started, but it was a little scary for a sec. We love to keep things exciting around here.
