5 Camera Modes EVERY Photographer Should Know * Auto (Automatic Mode): The camera automatically selects the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and other settings to produce a well-exposed image. Ideal for beginners or quick snapshots. * P (Program Mode): The camera automatically sets the aperture and shutter speed, but you can adjust other settings such as ISO, white balance, exposure compensation, and autofocus. Some cameras also allow Program Shift, letting you choose different aperture/shutter speed combinations while maintaining the same exposure. * S (Shutter Priority Mode) (Tv on Canon cameras): You choose the shutter speed, and the camera automatically selects the appropriate aperture. This mode is useful for freezing fast-moving subjects or creating motion blur. * A (Aperture Priority Mode) (Av on Canon cameras): You choose the aperture (f-stop), and the camera automatically sets the shutter speed. This mode is ideal for controlling depth of field, such as creating a blurred background for portraits or keeping landscapes sharp. * M (Manual Mode): You manually control both the shutter speed and aperture (and often ISO if Auto ISO is disabled). This mode provides complete creative control and is commonly used in challenging lighting conditions, studio photography, or long-exposure photography. #camera #photography #photographers #sony #fyp
