Babies can get warm more easily during the summer. But crying or fussiness doesn’t always mean the heat is the reason. Here are 4 things you can do. 1️⃣ Check the back of your baby’s neck Your baby’s hands or feet may feel cool. That’s normal. Instead, gently touch the back of their neck or chest. If they feel very warm or sweaty, they may need to cool down. 2️⃣ Check their clothing Lightweight, breathable cotton clothes are usually the best choice in hot weather. Sometimes one light layer is enough. 3️⃣ Keep the room comfortable Let fresh air in when you can. Close the curtains during the hottest part of the day. You can use a fan or air conditioner, but avoid blowing cold air directly onto your baby. 4️⃣ Ask Baby Signal Not sure if your baby is uncomfortable because of the heat? You don’t have to guess. Simply tell Baby Signal what’s happening. For example: “My baby is sweating a lot and having trouble sleeping.” or “The room feels warm, and my baby is very fussy.” Baby Signal looks at your baby’s age and symptoms together, then suggests the most likely reason and one clear next step. ✅ Personalized for your baby ✅ Based on science ✅ No one-size-fits-all advice The more you use Baby Signal, the better it understands your baby’s unique patterns and personalizes its guidance.
