Ok So what I like to do with this puppy, even though they have the obedience set when they come in here, they're excited about the livestock and they don't want to listen to you. So what I do with this puppy, to begin with, I'm going to walk around a little bit with the pup beside me, not in front of me, because if the pup is in front of me and I ask for a lie down, he will lay down and that's something we don't want. We want the dog with all ways the eyes on the stock and the ears on us. So to avoid that, I walk a little bit here and beside the pup, I say lie down. Good boy. Walk, lie down. Good boy. Walk, lie down. Good boy. And can you see that tail? That's an indication that this dog is happy to be here and that's one of the most important things. They must enjoy the training, otherwise they want to learn it.
