Being a daddy’s girl is the best thing in the world… until moments like this. 💔 My dad was truly my best friend and my other half. I get my personality, my humor, and my bright spirit from him. He was the one person I could call for absolutely anything. No matter what was going on, he always had the best advice and somehow always knew exactly what to say. Every conversation started with, “Be encouraged…” and ended with “I love you.” We shared so many memories together from daddy daughter days, to matching sneakers, to birthday cakes every single year. He called me “Boss Baby,” and if I missed his call, he would leave me a voicemail just to tell me he loved me. I still have all of those voicemails, and I’d give anything just to hear one more. I honestly don’t have all the words right now. My heart is broken, and I already miss him more than I can explain.
