What the last year taught me about body recomp
You don't build muscle at the gym, you build it while you SLEEP
8-9 hours.
no exceptionsss
You can gain weight eating healthy whole foods. Calories in, calories out.
Steps are the BIGGEST lever you can pull for fat loss
15-20k steps daily >
+ energy, mood & clarity boost
You can lift heavier than you think. I force myself to pick up heavier weights before I feel ready, and get 6+ reps every time.
The timing of your carb and caffeine intake can make or break your workout
200-300 mg caffeine & 20+ g carbs 30-60 minutes before works best for me :)
PortION control is your best friend!! No restrictions. Eat until your 60-70% full.
Cooking from home as often as possible is life changing
Build every plate around protein & veggies first
Progressive overload is HARD. If you think it's not, your not doing it properly :))
Every time you compare yourself to others is time you could have spent on learning how YOUR body works
If you don't want to look average, don't do average things
