Today im in a tiny little Florida town called Avon Park. And you already know what that means. I have to go see what these thrift stores are hiding. So let's go. everything everything is 50% OFF And did y'all hear that? Every girl dreams of hearing. Everything in the store is 50% off today. I don't know if they're gonna have any Ralph Lauren shirts here, but let's go take a look how pretty this table is. I love this colour and the red with it. That is absolutely beautiful. Look at that lamp. They don't have much. They have some. So let's see. No No luck Look how pretty these quilts are. it says handmade and it's $15. And there's this one. So pretty. Handmade 15 as well. This one is twenty. I love finding an all white hundred percent cotton fitted sheet and a flat sheet. Those are the good days. Okay, I spent a total of $15.05 today. I did not grab that much. I have thrifted so much for my new home that I think I'm pretty good on home decor. I will show you really quickly the haul. I always need hangers. How many are even in here? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. Okay, so you get 10 in a bundle for a dollar. This was such good quality, I could immediately tell it was 100% cotton. And it is a duvet cover. This one was. It's for a queen bed. It was $10, so I got it for five. Cutest little nightgown. Look at the ruffles on the shoulders. And this is absolutely beautiful, this baby blue. Just love wearing stuff like this in the evening when I get home from work. And then the last thing I got is this. Beautiful. Look at these colours. It's a kimono or a robe. I'm gonna use it as a robe. And this is 100% linen. It's one thing I've learnt about thrifting is that every town has a completely different thrifting personality. Let's just say. So today I was in a small town in Central Florida. And this town is where a lot of people come to retire. So you're. I'm not gonna find the same type of items that I would find in Tampa, Orlando, Miami or in another big city. So years ago, you know, people were shopping at Bells, Kmart, you know, maybe Dillard's at the mall. So I'm not walking into these thrift stores expecting racks of high end designer labels. But that's also why I've stopped chasing brands and I started chasing quality. Give me 100% linen, give me 100% cotton. And today I found a baby blue 100% linen nightgown, this gorgeous 100% linen kimono, and 100% cotton duvet cover and 20 hangers, all for $15. Was it a huge haul? Nope. But that's the fun of thrifting. You truly never know where you're gonna find a hidden gem. And so that's why every time I'm in a small town, or just anywhere that's outside of my city, I'm going thrift shopping. Like, I will take 20 minutes out of my day to go do that.
