Why it worked
The creator normalizes a common struggle with mental health medication (Zoloft) and then uses a relatable, humorous anecdote about a mishap with birthday cupcakes to connect with her audience. The unexpected calm reaction to the disaster makes the story engaging and shareable.
Summary
The creator shares a humorous anecdote about her child's birthday cupcakes falling out of her car. She mentions she is on Zoloft and reacts to the mishap with a giggle and by picking them up, calling one of the damaged cupcakes "that one".
Structure
- 1Introduction and Zoloft mention
- 2Purchasing cupcakes for child's birthday
- 3Cupcakes falling out of car
- 4Creator's calm reaction
- 5Picking up the damaged cupcakes
Product placement
Zoloft (acts): A prescription medication that the creator takes daily for mental health. Removing it would change the creator's personal context. Appears: The creator's t-shirt has a smiley face logo and text that says "SMILE AT THE PEOPLE". This is incidental scenery and does not change what happens in the video.
