* Constant time blindness — thinking you have more time than you do, then suddenly being late or rushing. * Struggling to start simple tasks even when you genuinely want to do them. * Hyperfocusing on things you’re interested in and losing track of everything else. * Forgetting whether you’ve already done something and then checking/repeating it because you don’t trust your memory. * Needing to reread things multiple times because the information doesn’t properly register the first time. * Zoning out while people are talking even though you’re trying to listen. * Putting things off until they become urgent, then suddenly being able to do loads at once. * Having loads of ideas/projects at the same time and jumping between them. * Getting overwhelmed by admin like forms, emails, applications and things with lots of little steps. * Double-booking or forgetting commitments because keeping track of everything mentally gets messy. * Really inconsistent routines — being able to do something perfectly for a while and then suddenly falling out of the routine. * Sleep procrastination / completely shifted sleep schedules, especially when there’s nothing forcing a routine. * Alarms not really working because you can turn them off or sleep through them without properly processing them. * Delaying basic needs when you’re focused, like eating, going to the toilet or getting ready for bed. * Getting overstimulated in busy environments and needing little breaks away from everything to reset. * “Out of sight, out of mind” with tasks, messages ,responsibilities or people * Knowing exactly what you need to do but feeling physically unable to begin it. * Being productive in random intense bursts rather than consistently. * Feeling like you need pressure to function — deadlines suddenly making your brain switch on. * Losing track of small details while juggling multiple things, even when you’re capable of handling the bigger picture. * Feeling mentally exhausted from trying to keep yourself organised all day. Just because you relate to some of these things does not automatically mean you have ADHD. ADHD consists of so many different symptoms and experiences, and these are only a few things I personally noticed before I was diagnosed. This post is not encouraging anyone to self-diagnose. If you relate to a lot of these experiences and genuinely think you could have ADHD, definitely speak to a professional and look into getting assessed properly. Everyone experiences ADHD differently, and relating to one or two things does not equal a diagnosis 🤍 #ADHD #ADHDAwareness #Neurodivergent #ADHDWomen #InattentiveADHD
