XTEINK kindly sent me the X3 to compare with my X4 and X4 Pro. 🤍 X3 vs X4 vs X4 Pro — which one would you choose? 👀 For me, I’d probably pick the X4 Pro, mainly because of the front light. I love being able to read without worrying about the lighting around me. The X3 really surprised me too. The screen is super crisp and has that paper-like feel, especially for such a tiny e-reader. Just sharing my honest opinion and experience with all three. Links in my bio ✨ #XTEINKX3 #XTEINKX4 #XTEINKX4Pro Now that I have all three e-readers, I thought it will be fun to compare them side by side. So we have the X3, the X4 and the X4 Pro. The X3 is the smallest, the X4 is a little bigger and the X4 Pro is pretty close to the X4 in size. You can really see the difference when you stack them together. For charging, the X4 uses USB C, so it's a little thicker here. The X3 and the X4 Pro uses a magnetic pogo pins instead. For screen comparison, I use the same text on all three. So we're looking at the same text. And honestly, the X3 is the sharpest one here. The X4 and the X4 Pro are still clear, but the Pro looks a little more grey at zero brightness because of the extra layer for the front light. Now for the front buttons. The X3 has the previous button on the left and the next button on the right, so they are separated. On the X4 page turn buttons are on the right by default. You can change the button functions. And honestly, the X3 and the X4 Pro have pretty similar magnetic wing placement. So I tried them with my planner. The X4 Pro has a front light with both brightness and warm light controls. So obviously you can use it even when you don't have an external light around. You can bring it all the way down to 1% and still read the screen. But you'll need some kind of external light since there's no front light. And I also tried them with the iPhone 15 Pro. The X4 works with the iPhone 15 Pro but only lines up properly in landscape. The X4 Pro works with the iPhone 15 Pro but since I'm using the smaller Pro and not the Pro Max, it's still a little too short and still sticks out. But the X3 is actually a really good fit for the iPhone 15 Pro. So which one would you choose? The X3 if you want something really small, light and with physical buttons and a super crisp screen. The X4 if you want something simple with physical buttons and USB C. Or the X4 Pro if you want the front light, touchscreen and physical buttons. Let me know which one you pick.
