I don’t care what the weather says. It’s chili season. Sorry Texas beans go in my chili. This chill is loaded with flavor and a perfect recipe with Football season right around the corner. I great Game Day meal. #gameday #chiliseason #cooking #EasyRecipes #dinner I add oil to a Dutch oven, but I'm using Talo for extra flavor. Add in your ground beef and let it cook for three to four minutes on one side before breaking it up. Season with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika. Give it a mix, then remove the beef and leave two tablespoons of grease. Add in the diced onions, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, and jalapeños. Sauté for a few minutes to add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add in tomato paste and cook until it turns deep red. Then season with oregano, smoked paprika, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Toast for 30 seconds, then pour in beef broth to deglaze. Add the beef back to the Dutch oven, then pour in fire roasted tomatoes and crushed tomatoes. Pour in beef broth, then add in Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, and diced chipotle peppers. Stir everything together. Now cover and let this simmer for about 45 minutes. Next, stir in a few cans of beans, unless you're from Texas and eat meat sauce instead of chili. Taste and adjust for salt. Add in brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. Now let it simmer uncovered for 30 minutes until it gets to your desired consistency. Serving how you like it, but don't forget that cornbread. Check out the link in my bio for the full recipe. How that old commercial go? Beef son.
