Why it worked
The video uses a relatable "fail" moment with a popular brand, creating a cautionary tale that is both humorous and informative for other consumers.
Summary
The creator shows a pair of Adidas barrel pants that have been damaged by an iron, with a visible burn mark on the fabric. They express disbelief at their mistake and humorously suggest cutting the pants into shorts.
Structure
- 1Introduction of the damaged pants
- 2Close-up of the burn mark
- 3Creator's reaction and explanation
- 4Suggestion to repurpose the pants
Product placement
adidas (ACTS): The brand of the pants that are being ironed and subsequently damaged. Removing it would change what happens in the video. adidas (APPEARS): The brand name is visible on the pants and on the creator's t-shirt. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
