Ep. 3 of Money Dates: welcome to my financial f*ck-ups. 🍷 I’m getting quite vulnerable with this because, truthfully, none of this is something I’m particularly proud of. For years, I had a pretty entitled mindset with money. I earned good money, so I spent good money. Eating out, travelling, clothes, experiences. I barely thought about future me! And while I definitely had a great time, that lack of planning has come back to bite me now. My biggest lesson? Pay yourself first. I used to save whatever was left at the end of the month. Which was usually… nothing. Now, almost everything is automated the second I’m paid. And I’ve had to learn to live not just within my means, but below them. Turns out earning more money and being good with money are two very different things. Lessons learned! personal finance, money mistakes, saving money, financial habits, budgeting, pay yourself first, lifestyle inflation, automated savings, money mindset, financial goals
