Today, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I’m sharing a video about the new 7th bell — a tribute that recognizes those who survived the day, served in the aftermath, became sick, and later died from 9/11-related illness. For many years, so much of this story lived in silence. This remembrance matters because the impact of 9/11 did not end on that morning. From 2002 to 2004, I worked between The Solaire and the temporary PATH station at Ground Zero. This video reflects not only my experience, but also the people I worked beside, the families who carried the weight afterward, and those we have lost along the way. It also includes remembrance for James Lavelle, who was part of that chapter of my life and work. We remember the responders. We remember the recovery workers. We remember the construction workers.
