Most people go to upgrade their graphics card completely wrong. It actually hurts performance. It's not really the graphics card itself. It's how they swap it out. So if you skip this first step when switching out your graphics card, your performance could be worse. So before you remove your old graphics card, you need to download DDU uninstaller. You don't want to run it just yet. You actually want to hold down the shift key on your keyboard, restart your computer. Once it's rebooted, you want to go to troubleshooting options. Then click on advanced options. And go to startup settings. It'll want you to restart one more time. Once it does that, you'll have a list of options here, but you want to select number four, which is enable safe mode. It'll reboot your computer one more time. Then you'll be in safe mode where you can start doing DDU. Once you're in safe mode, open DDU. And you want to go over and select GPU because you want to uninstall the drivers. Then you want to select the option that says clean and shutdown. It's going to take a while to do this, so just relax, go grab a snack and wait for it to be done. When it's done, unplug the power cable, drain the power, unplug the GPU's power connector. Unscrew the screws on the side, press down the tab, pull out your old card. Insert your new one. Plug up the power cables, screw it in. When you boot everything back up correctly, you can install your new drivers without any issues. Make sure save this video.
