There are no winners here ! I have no issue with unity, we have a bigger fight and the DUP and SF are stirring up the pot I think. But the march has went around peacefully- this 28 year old fight should have been left in the past but the judge put it back to the parades commission to decide. The old UVF and IRA will never let this go and I fear what it will bring. SF and the DUP of a sudden care about the people in the north over a march but don’t care or speak when it’s about women being assaulted or living in fear over mass immigration, both men and women being murdered by the new imports, but they all of a sudden and the DUP see this as an opportunity to score points in both communities. If they really wanted peace these 35 men could say yes we won the right but for the sake of progress and peace we chose not to march in an area where parents still carry the pain of losing their kids to this, the 3 Quinn brothers never got to see teenage years, petrol bombed and killed. 3 innocent kids. This shouldn’t be about loyalists or nationalists, this should be about common sense and it’s not prevailing. All it’s going to take is a few scum bags to take the law into their hands and no one wants more blood shed. We will never see a united Ireland and I’m ok with that, what I’m not ok with is having the anxiety to know my nieces and nephew and their kids coming through ever witness what I did, it traumatised my entire life. I would chose peace over violence everyday but it will come to violence if the decision is overturned from the loyalist side and if they are allowed march through it will come to violence from the republican side. There are no winners here - a decision by parades commission just destroyed any hope of peace continuing. There is too much hate, to much pain on both sides and they opened Pandora’s box, opened up pain, opened up hatred that people where slowly moving on from. 28 years putting in the same old paperwork, it’s not just a march it was a match to a fire of hard work by both communities
