I am 36 years old and I have wanted to learn how to play guitar since I was 15 when I went to my first concert. So this is day one of me learning how to play guitar. I'm a total beginner. I don't know what I'm doing on my own so I'm gonna be using this app called Yousician because I've tried using YouTube and tab books and they just don't work. What I like about Yousician so far is that it gives you really detailed lessons and then it gives you a chance to apply those to a really popular song so check it out.
