Hurricane Isaias has strengthened into a major Category 3 hurricane ahead of a Gulf Coast landfall tonight, bringing life-threatening storm surge, flooding rainfall and damaging winds. The storm, currently about 240 miles south of Pensacola, Florida, will bring heavy rain and strong winds inland across the Southeast this weekend.
