Senator Raffy Tulfo led the Octa Research survey on 2028 senatorial preference, conducted from September 28 to October 4, 2026. Tulfo took the top spot with 47 percent. Senator Robin Padilla is in second place with 45 percent, followed by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano with 44 percent, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto with 42 percent, former senator Grace Poe with 36 percent, and Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte with 36 percent. Meanwhile, Senator Loren Legarda, former Makati mayor Abby Binay, TIEZA COO Mark Lapid, Senator Chiz Escudero, DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, former senator Manny Pacquiao, broadcaster Ben Tulfo, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, former senator Koko Pimentel, and former presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo are also regarded as favorable candidates.
