Two nights ago at the ITS terminal in the Port of Long Beach, I, known as Crane Daddy, endured a terrifying 40-foot fall when my crane cab suddenly detached and crashed onto containers on a ship below. Thanks to the swift and courageous actions of the firefighters, paramedics, my bosses, and the skilled mechanics, I was safely rescued and brought down. It’s nothing short of a miracle that I survived with only minor injuries. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone involved in the rescue operation.
