How can you tell when ChatGPT has written something? I call them the 95% AI symbols or the "winking long-nose": - instead of, - or . ; instead of , or . Let's face it, the average person doesn't know how to correctly use the em dash and the semicolon. These symbols show up with these "winking long-nose" mistakes. There are some less direct signs too in addition to the 95% rule. STRUCTURAL PATTERNS: "It is not only about X, it is about Y" "Just like [metaphor], these [subject]" Starting sentences with "In fact..."
