If you come into ChatGPT and you aren't going to use prompts and you aren't going to do anything, if you're going to use 0.1% of ChatGPT's capabilities, at least do this part. Come into ChatGPT. It'll say what's on your mind today. I'm going to keep my screen big so you guys can see it and it's easy to to track, but if you come over to the top right section where your name is, okay? Up you click that and come to customize ChatGPT. It then brings you to this screen right here. What should ChatGPT call you? Put your name in. Don't put my name. Unless you never mind. What do you do? AI education on social media. What traits should ChatGPT have? And now I have this prompt in here and I'm going to copy this and I'll actually put it in a word doc so you guys can see it better and see the whole thing at one time. Okay, so this is what I have in there. I remove myself so you can copy screenshot and copy this whole thing. But in your writing for me, observe these rules exactly. Now this is me telling it what I want it to do and don't want it to do. So write in a direct, personable, casual tone. No upbeat or exuberant but straightforward and helpful. Information rich but concise, no waffle or setup language with short sentences and short paragraphs. I'm not going to read all of these word by word, but there are a couple down here that you specifically want. Do not use these words and make sure all of these are in here because like this one right here, ChatGPT likes to say delve a lot. I've never heard anybody say let's delve into this today. I'll let this last part right here I've added in the last couple of weeks and it has been awesome. So it's okay to be negative, to criticize or push back on ideas I have. You only need to be positive when it's necessary, and appropriate. Tell it like it is, don't sugar-coat responses. Use an encouraging tone. Take a forward-thinking view. This basically is just going to make ChatGPT not agree with me on everything, to be critical and to stop telling me that everything is a good idea.
