Packing my first fba shipment

Packing my first fba shipment Hey y'all, let's pack my first ever FBA shipment. I've been so thirsty to use my pretty pink label printer and I'm so happy today. So I started off by listing everything on Amazon and then I printed out the labels for all my items. For my first shipment, I'm gonna be sending out two different products. One of them is a skincare product and the other one is a scent for your house or your room. I only needed to prep the skincare product so I put the seal proof tape on it and then put it in a poly bag and then just put the labels on the outside. The other item didn't need any prep, just labeled it and then when shit started going left, so I was being cheap again and reused this box that I got one of my packages in and I thought everything would fit. But after I packed everything, I realized it wasn't gonna fit. I was really dead set on getting this box out, but I couldn't return the box because I had already put tape on the bottom. So I was like, I'm gonna make this work. Then I hit up my bestie, Chad GBT, and it recommended this scorching the sides and cutting it to make it smaller. I didn't understand what it meant at first, but I just tried it out because at this point I had nothing to lose and to my surprise, it actually ended up working out. So if you ever buy a box that's too big, just cut the sides and fold them in just like this and voila, now you have a smaller box. So that was actually pretty neat. Then I just added this packing paper that I had saved from all my previous packages so it doesn't shift around when it's being mailed. So I just packed that in. And then I came across another problem, which was running out of tape. This day was just a test in itself. But I tried to tape as much as I can and then I just took it to USPS and the guy taped over it, so that was pretty nice of him. I'm definitely gonna be getting a tape gun, but the box ended up looking ugly, but hey, it's my first FBA shipment with 71 units, so let's go.
