I think one of the biggest mistakes that you can make when trying to learn how to program is just not being consistent enough with it. The best way you're going to get good at any skill, even regardless of programming, is doing a day in, day out repetition of it. And a great way to do it, at least for programming, is using this website called Coddy. It's got a super generous free tier and it basically teaches you every programming language that's popular nowadays from the ground up, step by step, every day. I think my favorite part of the website is honestly the journeys tab which takes you through one or two daily lessons every day until you master whatever skill you're trying to gain. Definitely worth checking out and if you want to, it's just Coddy.Tech.
