Day 37 : I built an AI agent for a single mom for free. And in the past couple of weeks, I got this message from this single mom. She stated that she has six kids and is becoming increasingly hard to make sure that they're doing their work after school. She has a job, takes care of six kids and also does tutoring on the side. So understandably, it's becoming increasingly hard for her to actually put in work after school when it comes to the kids' homework. So I decided to build her an AI agent for that. I mean, it's the least I can do. So the AI agent actually services three different customers. You have the students. There's actually going to be an AI chatbot where they can ask all their relevant questions and homework assignments, which leads me to the second problem in the single mom's message. She's truly afraid that AI is going to make her kids dumb and lazy, which to her defense, I think all parents are worried about. Which is why the chat experience refuses to give the users the answer. It will only confirm if your answer is right and walk you through how to get there. I programmed it in such a way that it will not allow for students to cheat or just randomly ask for the answer like you could do for ChatGPT. Then we have to talk about the teacher side of the AI agent. This is where all the teachers actually input all of their context so that it knows how to teach the students and explain the answers. So if I have a teacher named Miss Chang who likes to teach a certain way, that's how the AI is going to teach the student as well so that they're very prepared when it comes to in-person classes. And lastly, you have the parent side of the AI agent. This is basically the parent's companion as it relates to how the student's actually using the tool. Are they doing well in science versus reading? Maybe they're having a hard time when it comes to adding fractions. Or maybe the AI has realized that your student's doing way better than the benchmark, so it actually recommends that you do more complex problems with your student. It's pretty much like a student ChatGPT that's trained on their specific teacher's teaching styles, has suggested things like lesson plans and lectures from your student's teacher. So of course I'm going to send it to her, but if you or anyone else knows anyone who could use this, let me know and I'll send it to you. I'm trying desperately to keep gatekeeping in 2025.
