(app name is oldos on testflight) ios 4 (shown as ios -26 in this vid) is apple’s fourth ios version. it was released in 2010, and was the first ios to drop support for the iphone 2g and first gen ipod touch. it was the first ios with homescreen wallpaper support for iphone 3gs, 3rd gen ipod touch, 1st gen ipad, and later. it also supported multitasking, which was pretty revolutionary bc before ios 4, once u went to the homescreen, the app u were using was instantly closed, for example if u were playing minecraft and u went to the homescreen to open safari, ur minecraft world would close instantly. multitasking wasn’t available on the iphone 3g and second gen ipod touch, mainly due to their miserable 128mb of ram. ios 4 was compatible with the iphone 3g, 3gs, 4, second, third, fourth gen ipod touch, first gen ipad, and the ipad 2 (keywords: oldos, testflight, ios 26, update, ipad pro, m5, ios 4, ipad, ipados 26, ipod, frutiger aero, skeuomorphism, iphone os) #TechTok #fyp #xyzbca #cidstech #ios
