The career blueprint I wish I had at 20👇 1. Chasing your passions is BS. Passion doesn’t pay the bills. Learn a high demand skill in a high paying industry. Becoming the best at your job is how passion develops. 2. Skill > Diploma: Your degree gets you through the door, your skills keep you in the room. Never stop developing your monetization talents. 3. Stop worrying about your resume. 85% of jobs are filled through networking. Your opportunities will come from coffee chats, not a job board. 4. Don’t play it safe, take risks. In your 20s, you have no real responsibility and nothing to lose. The longer you “take it easy” the harder it becomes to bet on yourself, and you don’t win big unless you take bets. 5. Your major doesn’t matter. I went from studying economics to working in tech full time and I have zero technical skills. If you want to break into an industry, start talking to the people in it.
