TikTok has changed ! As of April 2026. They have made it harder for content creators to get views in the same way. I'm gonna run through the main changes and how to get around this so you can still get views as a content creator even with the algorithm changes. So save this so you don't lose it and you can keep coming back to it. And drop us a follow for daily TikTok world content, cause we're dropping content every single day, helping creators grow and monetize their accounts. So the biggest way TikTok has changed is whose FYPs they are pushing your videos to. They are making it harder and harder for you to get your videos to land in front of people who would actually be interested in them. And you would probably be seeing this yourself right now, just using TikTok as a user rather than a creator. You've probably seen over the past couple of weeks, your FYP would be including loads of different kinds of content, not just your typical interest and typical content. And that's because of the way the algorithms changed. Obviously, for creators, this is gonna mean that you're gonna get less views because when you post a video, if TikTok is pushing you out to people who are a bit more random and don't really express loads of interest in the topic that you're making the video on, then they're less likely to sit down and watch it. And as we all know, it's how many people sit down and watch your video for a long time that determines how many views you get overall. So how do you get around this? How do you make sure even with these changes you are still landing on the right FYPs of people who would be interested in your videos so you can still get more views? Well, this all comes down to getting your videos categorized, which is essentially what TikTok is making it really hard for creators to do. So click on one of the videos that you've posted recently and have a look at the search bar at the top. If it says find related content, then that video is not categorized and it's going to random people. But if it says something like this, if it says something that's relevant to what the video is about, then it means TikTok has categorized it that way. They've understood it that way. So it means when you post that video, TikTok looks for people who have engaged with that topic before and put you on their FYPs. That's the secret sauce to getting views right now. But how do you do this? Well, the only way I got my video to say how to get more views on TikTok is because I picked that keyword beforehand, that phrase beforehand. I saw on creator searching sites that loads of people were searching it, so obviously I knew that TikTok would understand this topic. Now once I knew this, I used this phrase multiple times throughout the video. I actually physically said get more views on TikTok, get more views on TikTok, get more views on TikTok. So when TikTok analyzed the video and took the audio file, because of what I said it was really easy to pick out what the video was about. And I use it in my description and my hashtags. So to do this for yourself and to make sure you're still getting views right now, you need to make sure step one, you understand what TikTok understands about your niche, what people are searching for in your niche, and then you understand how to get videos understood to be about that. I can explain all this in more detail if you just comment part two and enough people do, I can get a video out on that next week. But you can do this in seconds. Use a tool like Vyralyze where you explain what you make content about and it will give you what the algorithm is rewarding and create ideas around these so you can target them. And with the ideas, it will give you the best ways to structure them to get people to stop scrolling and actually watch them. It can create scripts that sound like you that use the keywords so you land on the right FYPs and so much more. Click the link in our bio to access that and DM me if you have any questions.
