let's talk about something controversial because I feel like this is a very 50 50 topic in the brow industry some artists love trimming brows and some artists are completely against it because the biggest argument that I hear from people who don't like trimming is that the brow hairs are gonna grow back and when they grow back they grow back patchy or uneven and very blunt now personally for myself I laminate and trim my own brows and I've never really noticed that happening in a way that looks obvious or uneven but I do understand where that concern is coming from because trimming does create a blunt finish on the ends of the hair that if someone brushes all those brow hairs straight up into a really unnatural position and then trims them like that when those hairs ultimately grow out and fall back into their natural direction it absolutely is going to look uneven a little bit patchy and a bit off so for me it's less about whether you trim and more about how you trim now brows are very similar to a haircut when someone leaves a hair salon you want them to be able to maintain that style at home and it's the same with eyebrows the way you trim should allow the brow to grow out naturally and still be manageable for the client for clients who have very thick and very long brow hairs trimming actually does make the brow shape much easier for them to maintain at home but there are other clients that don't need trimming at all I feel like it very much is a personal preference which is why I think this always comes back down to consultation and the understanding of the client that is in front of you now I personally do teach brow trimming inside my training because there is a very specific way I found to do it you need to trim in the natural direction of the hair and things like the scissors you use how you hold them against the skin all of these make a big big difference to the final results so we break all of that down step by step inside our online brow course for anyone who wants to learn it properly but I'm really curious to hear other artists opinion on this are you someone who agrees with trimming brows or are you completely against it let me know in the comments below because I would love to hear your thoughts
