Stack
i say this all the time, pick your stack, get good with it, get fast with it and STICK with it.
Your stack does not matter to your end user, so you might as well use something you know inside and out.
If you don't have a stack I would recommend (for web):
• NextJS
• Tailwindcss
• tRPC
• Prisma
• PostgreSQL (Supabase for the vibers)
• Stripe (You gotta get money!)
Tools
Use the tools that are at your disposal. This will be things like coding agents, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Trae etc.
Generate copy and icons using ChatGPT, it does a surprisingly good job at this.
Generate your landing page with Claude Design.
You want to automate as much as you can, so you can focus on make your app great.
Utilise MCPs like the ones from Supabase, Context7 and more so that your code editor knows exactly what is doing when interfacing with third party tech.
Deployment
With the stack I recommend, the only thing you need is Vercel. Connect your GitHub repo and enjoy CI/CD out of the box. Use Supabase so you don't need to worry about that, and the free tier is very generous.
Marketing
This is the hardest part, you made it this far, you need to give this a red hot crack otherwise all of that app building was for nothing.
The most effective channels for marketing are posting about what you are doing. Show off your product as you are building it, post about it on X, make reels and shorts, just talk about it as soon as you can.
Post your app on TinyLaunch, ProductHunt & anywhere that will let you!
