Nothing about me or my life is random. 2021. Fort Stewart, GA. I walked into the HBI Pre-Apprenticeship program and walked out certified in Carpentry AND Electrical. The only woman in my class. The only Black woman to graduate at the time. Three months pregnant and you couldn’t tell — but I knew. Getting ready to ETS out of the military with no clue that five years later I’d be building a construction staffing ecosystem that’s the first of its kind. Fast forward to now. I run two businesses that operate separately but work together. At ITM Staffing we place skilled trades and construction talent where they’re needed most. At ITM Site Support, we’re boots on the ground, keeping job sites moving with the labor and support they actually need. And feeding both of them is StrideCore — our learning pathway getting people certified and on site through OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and pre-apprenticeship training. I’m OSHA 30 certified myself. I’ve sat in the chair. I’ve done the training. I know exactly what I’m sending people into because I’ve already walked it. I keep ending up in rooms that weren’t built for me. Construction. Staffing. Procurement. Skilled trades. And every single time — I find the gap and make it mine. This is a subtle flex. It’s also the receipts. Everything I push — construction, skilled trades, OSHA certs, getting in where the real money is — I’m not teaching it from theory. I’m teaching it from the path I already walked. Five years ago I was three months pregnant getting a carpentry and electrical cert. Today I’m building the ecosystem. Watch what the next five do. ✨✨✨ #explorepage✨ #construction #carpentry #electrical #business
