I quit my job to build software full-time, and after almost two years of testing every shiny new tool, this is the lean stack that actually runs every product I launch, nothing else makes the cut: 1. Supabase: database, auth and file storage in one, full backend without writing backend code 4. Obsidian: my local second brain in plain markdown; every note, idea and spec in files I actually own 5. PostHog: product analytics, funnels and session replay so I see exactly what users click and where they drop off The whole point is to stay lean. No subscriptions I don't use, no jumping to a new SaaS every week, no all-in-one platform that tries to do everything badly.
