Why do high performers still always feel behind? Because high performers set constantly evolving goals. They're always raising the bar on themselves, so no matter how much they achieve, there's always another level they feel they haven't reached yet. In other words, they feel behind because they're measuring themselves against their own ever-moving finish line. Is there something wrong with them? There's nothing inherently wrong with them. It's just a mindset difference. High performers tend to be more self-critical and future focused. They're always looking at what's next, which can make them feel different from others who might be more content with where they are. So it's really just a different way of approaching goals and personal standards.
