Someone commented that they don't believe I'm wealthy. what they were really saying was… “You don't seem like the kind of person who has money." The problem? Most people have been taught that money changes you. That the more money you make, the more selfish you become. The more disconnected you become. The more out of touch you become. That you have to hurt someone on the way there. So they spend years caught between two desires…. I want more money. But also... I don't want money to change me. I don't want people to think I've changed. I don't want my family to judge me. I don't want success to cost me my relationships. I don't want to become someone I don't recognize. And that's where so many entrepreneurs stay at a certain income level for years because consciously they're trying to grow subconsciously they're protecting themselves from the very thing they say they want. Because some part of them unconsciously ( meaning they aren’t aware of it) still believes there is a cost to being successful.
