Whenever we going to have an honest conversation about the fact that BuzzFeed as a publication is very problematic, and they grew their popularity by being controversial. Because I just read this publication about Hudson Williams and pretty much this viral piece of like how images from when he was in high school are servicing. Mind you, this man went to high school in Canada in a pre-COVID era. And the internet is very divided in regards to these like photos coming to light. But the fact that a publication went digging, digging, digging, digging, and this person's pre-celebrity life to find something to make is so problematic. And Simu Liu, I hope I'm pronouncing his name right, had to leave this comment and pretty much call them out for the fact that this is blatant clickbait and they're not evolving as a publication. And it's facts. Like, it is so facts. Like, if you've been around since BuzzFeed has been around, which was like, I'm talking early 2010s, they are just recycling the same BS that they have always thought would work. But in 2026, that doesn't work. It doesn't work. And what's crazy is, Hudson is Asian-Canadian, I believe. So are Chinese. I think like he he has Asian descent in him. And it's fascinating that he is always the one getting the butt end of the stick for post-heated rivalry, you know? So when are we going to talk about it? Like, when when is when is another publication going to like take BuzzFeed out? Because I'm I'm really tired of this recycled garbage at this point.
