How I shoot my videos before getting a tripod using a mop stick, my phone and a roll of tape. Place the mop stick behind your phone, making sure it doesn't cover the camera lens. Then wrap it around tightly with a tape. If you're using the back camera, lean the stick against a wall and position yourself in the center of the frame.
