Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
A little over a week ago something moved quietly and almost nobody caught it. A company called Vertus built AI that reads global financial markets in real time and executes trading strategies for some of the largest institutional funds in the world. Just last year their systems returned 51%. For context, Citadel did 18% and the S&P returned 24%. Three people, self-funded, no venture capital. They beat all of it. And here's where it gets interesting. Every AI tool that you're using right now, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, they all run on the same foundational architecture, transformers from 2017. Vertus went a completely different direction. They actually modeled their systems on the structure of the human brain, how it processes, how it connects, how it decides. They're calling it brain topology. It's proprietary and cannot be replicated. And now there's rumors that they'll be releasing public models later this year. Nothing official, nothing confirmed. But if the same architecture that outperformed every major goddamn hedge fund in the planet goes public, you do the math. Most people won't register this until it's already too late. So follow, I'm watching this so you don't have to.
